From Obligation to Passion: Stories of Transformation in Exercise

Many assume that those who ‘work out’ naturally love exercise, but in truth, most people don’t start that way. We certainly didn’t and we are coaches, but we learned to love a new way of being. As they say, every master was once an apprentice.

At FitRev, we witness members of our community making remarkable choices and transformations daily.

As coaches, our passion lies in meeting our members exactly where they are on their journeys, celebrating their unique strengths, and supporting their individual needs.

We’re here to ensure their fitness journey is not only effective but also enjoyable.

Seeing our members thrive physically and mentally is what truly inspires a sense of purpose in us and we are grateful to share in their experiences.

Now we have the privilege of sharing some of their heartfelt stories with you.

How did you used to feel about exercise?

When I first started at FitRev exercise was very much in the ‘something I have to do’ category.

There was a lot of guilt around whether I did or didn’t exercise, so it felt like an obligation.

How do you feel about it now?

I feel like it is just a part of who I am now.

It’s no longer a chore on my to-do list, it’s something I enjoy, that I get to reap awesome benefits from.

I am way more consistent, so much so that I choose to work out while on holiday and that was never me before.

Why did that change?

The FitRev community – I don’t think I would have become as committed and consistent if it wasn’t for the people who surround you and cheer you on at FitRev.

The sense of pride and fulfillment that comes from doing something “hard” but good for you.

I feel so much stronger, and my body feels so much more capable of things – now that I’ve got to this point, I want to continue.
